about BC

Hey friend- so glad you’re here!

I'm Brittany, western lifestyle + wedding photographer. I love making each session unique + tailored to my client's interests & lifestyle.
My love for photography began when I got my first camera at the age of 5 and was then brought to life when I was gifted my first DSLR camera when I was 16. When I'm not shooting with my DSRL I probably have an old canon film camera or Polaroid in my hands.

My Mission

I work with rural America in beautiful Northeast Oklahoma area by capturing portraits of their way of life, their families and their adored four-legged fur babies, from the agricultural and western lifestyle.

I believe all walks of life deserve quality photos, regardless of income, social status or location. I value time, energy and the worth of a hard-earned dollar.

I work to create stunning, lasting photos that tell YOUR story and that can be displayed for many years to come.

In 2016 I graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor degree in Agricultural Education, Communications and Technology. {Woo Pig!} I am, now,  pursuing my photography business full steam ahead. On September 15, 2017 I married my best friend + I am over the moon happy about spending my life with Justin Kyle Parker. {Being married is kinda weird too..our biggest arguments in the first six months of marriage were  about how to decorate the Christmas tree + how to make mac and cheese}

When I’m not taking pictures you will likely find me either on the front porch with my momma, with my nose in a good book, traveling wherever the wind takes me, loving on my sweet fur babies{Shiloh + Opie}, or spending precious quality time with the ones I love most, especially that husbabe of mine.

I am extremely passionate about all things agriculture. I grew up an active FFA member showing hogs and cattle, both of my college degrees are Agricultural Science degrees + my husband is a cowboy through and through.

In Justin's free time you'll find him hunting, fishing, team roping or picking up rodeos and hanging out with me, of course (lolol).

One day I woke up with a crazy idea to combine the two things I am most passionate about- photography + agriculture. I spent most of 2017 traveling to different farms and ranches in the four-state area, interviewing the producers and photographing the everyday happenings of their operations. In November of 2017 the stories I wrote about these operations along with the photos were published in a hard-back coffee table book titled Tales & Traditions: the Steadfast Faces of Agriculture. You can purchase your copy here- Tales & Traditions!  My goal with this project was to education the consumer about where their food + fiber comes from. I wanted the consumer to know that most farms are still family owned and operated. That the farmer or rancher is a family man or woman + loves what they do. It's a way of life. That's what the consumer needs to understand.

This is my way of preserving history and advocating for my favorite industry while working to create something beautiful and timeless.

I take pride in producing images that can stand alone and tell a story. I love capturing raw, natural beauty. I believe photos should be timeline + classic. I want your images tell a story and stand the test of time.

I love Lonesome Dove, Brahman cattle, Duroc hogs, all things turquoise, '90s country music, a cold cerveza on a warm summer evening + a hot tea on a chilly fall morning.

I think corny jokes are hilarious. I love cacti + printing out my pictures. My mom + I call each other Thelma + Louise. I have watched Gilmore Girls all the way through about three times + if I never had to wear makeup again I would be completely content.

I couldn't live this dream life without folks like you, so thank you!
